Walcote Farm, is set in a tranquil picturesque hamlet of Walcote. It is an ideal place to relax when on holiday or after work. |
There are numerous short or long interesting and lovely walks from Walcote Farm. One short walk is to our parish church of Haselor. The 12th century Norman church which stands on a hill, can be approached by a tarmacadam footpath. There are no roads for vehicles to the church. Walk down the hill on the other side into the village of Haselor, passing the village stocks on your left. Return either by the local road between Haselor and Walcote or by an old road which is mostly grassed over. Distance about 1 mile. |

If you can wrench yourself away from Walcote with its peaceful surroundings you will find we are central to numerous places of interest. Shakespeare's Birthplace, The Royal Shakespeare's Theatre and Anne Hathaway's Cottage, all about 6 miles from Walcote. Mary Arden's House and the Shakespeare's Countryside Museum at Wilmcote, about 2 ½ miles, well worth a visit. |

Allow yourself half a day to visit Warwick Castle, which is the finest mediaeval castle in England and the most visited stately home in Britain only 14 miles. Walcote Farm has detailed accounts of Lord Brooke the Earl of Warwick of Warwick Castle for the years 1782-1786. They make fascinating reading. |
